Let op! Omdat we het toernooi in veel minder tijd moeten afronden nemen we de gelegenheid dit weekend om te experimenteren met de setup voor de avondtoernooien. Dat houdt in dat we een aantal dingen wijzigen ten opzichte van wat je van ons gewend bent:

• We starten om 1830u
• Verwachte eindtijd: 2200u
• We spelen zes matches met swiss pairings
  • De matches zijn best of one
  • De matches worden getimed op maximaal 20 minuten
  • Er is 60 minuten tijd voor introductie en deckbuilding
• Prijzen worden toegekend op basis van aantal gewonnen partijen
  • Zoals je van ons gewend bent in de avond proberen we iedere winstpartij te belonen
  • Omdat we meer matches spelen is booster-per-win helaas niet mogelijk, maar het zal zo vergelijkbaar mogelijk zijn
• Je eerste mulligan iedere match is gratis
  • Dat betekent dat je na je eerste mulligan geen kaart uit je hand onderop je deck hoeft te leggen

Wij denken dat we hiermee een leuk alternatief hebben bedacht voor de korte(-re) tijd die we te besteden hebben. We verwachten een avond met veel verschillende tegenstanders en lekker veel snelle actie!

Please be aware! Because we will have to complete the tournament in less time than usual, we will take the opportunity this weekend to experiment with the setup for our evening tournaments. This means we will apply some changes compared to our regular evening pre-release events:

• We start at 1830h
• Event expected to end at 2200h
• We play six matches with swiss pairings
  • Matches are in best of one format
  • Matches are timed at 20 minutes max
  • There are 60 minutes for introduction and deckbuilding
• Prizes are awarded based on the number of won matches
  • As usual, we try and reward every won match
  • Unfortunately, booster-per-win is not possible because of the higher number of matches. We will try and match the booster-per-win structure as much as possible
• Your first mulligan each match is free
  • This means that you don’t have to put a card from your hand on the bottom of your library for your first mulligan

We believe this to provide a fun alternative for the short(-er) timespan available to us. We expect a night with lots of different opponents and good old fast paced action!

Wekelijks bieden steeds 4 DM’s hun D&D of andere T-RPG avonturen aan, van diverse spelsystemen en speel niveaus. Je hoeft geen ervaring te hebben met role playing voor de beginners tafels, maar bij een hoger level is dat wel erg handig.
Hoe werkt het? De DM’s hebben een avontuur voor jullie voorbereid. Dit is een avontuur van zijn/haar keuze, in een wereld van zijn/haar keuze en met een regel set van zijn/haar keuze. De DM heeft een aantal characters klaar liggen waaruit je kan kiezen, je mag hier enkel nog je naam boven zetten.  Om het allemaal goed te laten verlopen bestaan er geen regels buiten het scenario van de DM, discussie over regels is dus niet gewenst. Je kunt vrijwel direct aan de slag en het avontuur is goed speelbaar op één avond. Deze avond is dus heel geschikt om eens kennis te maken, maar ook voor mensen die geen eigen groep hebben of niet regelmatig kunnen.
Onze DM’s gebruiken vaak deze FaceBook groep om hun sessie voor te stellen.

Entree voor de speelruimte is 5 euro (3,50 entree + 1.50 aan consumptie tegoed).
Vanaf de 25e september is het niet meer verplicht een reservering te maken. Echter heeft het voor de planning een groot voordeel en willen we je daarom vragen om te reserveren via deze link.  Hier kun je direct zien welke plaatsen er nog beschikbaar zijn, wie de DM is, welk spelsysteem zij/hij gaat gebruiken en op welk level. Every Thursday evening we host our One-Shot event. One-Shots are D&D or other Tabletop-RPG adventures that are played in one single session.
Weekly we try to get 4 DM’s to run a table in D&D or other T-RPG rulesets and at different playing levels. It really doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or expert player. All people are welcome. Our tables run in dutch and/or english (as we have a big expat community in the region in and around Eindhoven).
How does it work? Our DM’s have prepared an adventure for you. This is an adventure of his/her choosing, in a world of his/her choosing, using a set of rules of his/her choosing. The DM will have your characters ready, you only have to name it. To make sure everything runs smoothly there are no rules outside the DM’s scenario, discussions about the rules are unwanted. You can start playing almost inmediately and the adventure will be very well playable in one evening. This evening is therefore ideal for new players to give it a try. One Shots are also ideal for players that can’t find a group, can’t keep a group or just don’t have time for a regular group.
Oud DM’s often use this FaceBook group to introduce their session.

Entrance fee for playing is 5 euro (3,50 entree + 1.50 euro for consumption credit).
As of the 25th of september it is no longer mandatory to create a reservation. Yet it will greatly help our planning if you do so. Therefore we’d ask you to create a reservation for a table here. This also displays which DM’s are hosting, what system, what level etc. Is everything full please send us a message so we can check if we can create a spot for your or get another DM to run an extra table

Eindhoven Eternals Wargaming

Iedere vrijdagavond organiseren de Eindhoven Eternals een wargaming-avond. Met meer dan 30 leden spelen we een grote variatie aan war- en tabletop games. De nadruk ligt op Games Workshop: Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40K, The Horus Heresy (Warhammer 30K), Adeptus Titanicus, Warcry, Kill Team en Warhammer Underworlds.

Speel je een ander wargame (of tabletop game)? Noem de naam en je komt waarschijnlijk wel een tegenstander tegen. Wij hebben tafels en terreinstukken voor algemeen gebruik op de club. Wil je liever socializen en schilderen? Er is altijd ruimte aan onze schildertafel. Leg contact met mede-wargamers, verbeter je schildertechnieken en blijf gemotiveerd.

Onze club kent op dit moment geen lidmaatschap. Om af te spreken kun je het best eerst contact zoeken via Signal , WhatsApp  of per Discord .

Eindhoven Eternals Wargaming

Every Friday night the Eindhoven Eternals organize a wargaming night. Over 30 members play a wide variety of war- and tabletop games. The emphasis is on Games Workshop: Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Warhammer 40K, The Horus Heresy (Warhammer 30K), Adeptus Titanicus, Warcry, Kill Team and Warhammer Underworlds.

Do you play another wargame (or tabletop game)? Mention the name and you’ll probably meet an opponent. We have tables and terrain pieces for general use at the club. Would you rather socialize and paint? There’s always room at our painting table. Connect with fellow wargamers, improve your painting techniques and stay motivated.

Our club does not require membership at this time. To meet up, it is best to contact us via Signal , WhatsApp  or by Discord .
