You are a well-trained archer from a long line of hunters. Together with your trusty longbow, an heirloom from your family and your friends in tow, you are traveling through this magical forest. A forest of bright colors. You have been traveling on this road for a tenday, on your way to a long forgotten ruin. Talks about this ruin told you there is a great amount of riches. The only thing you need to do is find the place.
Then at midday, fog falls over this forest. Your sight reduced to only a couple of feet so you can barely make out your traveling companions. When an unknown voice whispers in your head “Who are you, to think about laying claim on my riches?”. Unfortunately this isn’t your imagination, your friends heard the voice too. What do you do?
Have you ever dreamed that the stories like Lord of the Rings were real and you were one of the main characters on an important quest, maybe to save the world or maybe just for the money? This is what Table Top Roleplaying Games are perfect for. In which you and several other players are getting into the skin of your own epic creation. Are you a great wizard, skilled fighter, sneaky rogue or your always happy bard? Well that is up to you!
Together with the other players and under the guidance of a Game Master. You delve into any world and story that you as a group create. Of course your Game Master will set the scene. But you and your other players will fill it with your own unique characters to generate a fun, dramatic, spooky, magical or whatever story you like it to be.
Whether it is Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, Fiasco or any other great Table Top Roleplaying Game system. We at GameForce have a weekly TTRPG evening on Thursday. Where we have a great number of Game Master that run One-Shots, short stories that fill 1 evening of fun, and campaigns (stories that take multiple evenings, maybe years).
And the best part of it, you don’t have to have any experience to start with any TTRPG. Just a pen and paper and a set of dice will probably be enough to get started. Maybe a big healthy amount of fantasy and creativity is also nice!
